My wedding photography is a little different from the norm. Why? Well, I am a filmmaker first & foremost, however my passion for using my cameras to tell stories also allows me to turn to still images to do that. As a filmmaker I am used to being low key, having a natural & calm presence & preserving those wonderful intimate moments- the perfect combination for wedding photography.
There’s nothing quite like the buzz of capturing that perfect photograph- an image you know will be treasured for a lifetime to come. My unique approach allows your day to flow naturally whilst capturing it all in stunning detail.
From the decor & table setups you’ve painstakingly obsessed over for months on end, to those beautiful bridal details & sentimental trinkets, i’m capturing it all for you.
My passion for working in the wedding industry was born from a love of the interactions between people- the love, the smiles, the tears & the joy. Seeking out these moments throughout your wedding day, it’s what makes it so special. My focus is to capture the day naturally in all its glorious detail, giving you the perfect memories of the most special day.

A little helping hand
There are many styles of wedding photography to choose from & choosing the right one for you can is so important.
My photography style is a mixture or reportage & editorial. What does that mean to you? It means for most of your day I am a fly on the wall, capturing things as they happen. However it also means that my couples want me to step in with ideas & approaches to extract the very possible images from any given moment.
Think of having that dress reveal with your Father- it’s a moment I want to capture naturally & it’s a moment between the two of you that is important. So I may suggest a certain location or approach to capturing it so that it looks incredible, but you still get to have that once in a lifetime moment with your Father.
It also means my couples look to me for some coaching & direction during their portrait session. My foundation as a wedding filmmaker makes me the perfect photographer for these couples, because in film it is crucial to be relaxed & natural, so I am very experienced in creating the environment for you both to shine, feel relaxed & create those images for you that you’ve always dreamed of.
I believe my approach to wedding photography is the perfect balance between the natural & epic, the candid & the elegant.

As a DoP (Director Of Photography) I utilise my experience & expertise as both a filmmaker & photographer to coordinate teams of talented individuals, with the common goal of creating something epic.
Having a single point of contact for your wedding or event not only means your day flows smoothly & efficiently, it also allows for continuity between the two crafts meaning that the end result & final edits are intertwined seamlessly.
As a filmmaker I have hired & worked alongside other filmmakers. As a photographer I have hired & worked alongside other photographers. As a DoP, I coordinate & direct both film & photography as a singular team, no matter how big that team needs to be. With everyone pulling in the same direction & following the same plan, the possibilities are endless & the results are unquestionable.
Having an understanding of how both film & photography work, their differences & challenges, their strengths & their weaknesses, means that for each stage of the project we can extract the maximum for both whilst coexisting in the same space.
