Destination Wedding Videography With Emotive Storytelling.

UK-based destination wedding videography across Europe and beyond, crafted as cinematic wedding films with a fine art finish. I focus on real emotion, atmosphere and story-led audio, creating films that feel immersive, timeless and unmistakably you. From intimate coastal ceremonies to multi-day estate celebrations, I film with a calm, unobtrusive presence and an editorial eye, so your day never feels staged.

If you’re planning a destination wedding and want a film that captures not just how it looked, but how it felt, you’re in the right place.

Watch A Destination Wedding Film

The best way to understand destination wedding videography and how powerful its storytelling can be, is to experience it for yourself. Watch the film below and notice the natural moments, editorial visuals, fine art styling and the way audio shapes the narrative, and how the pace is built to allow the emotion to land without rushing through the day.

This is the same approach I bring to every wedding I film, tailored to the people, atmosphere and story at the centre of it.

Luke is amazing!

We will never forget the first time we saw the teaser video that he made for our wedding day. It gave us goosebumps and it felt like a movie trailer!

All of our family and friends agree and the video package that came later was just magical. He captured every bit of emotion from the day and focused and these elements which really mattered to us.

So many of my friends and family have used Luke and I would recommend you to do the same if you are looking for a videographer

Planning a stunning wedding abroad and looking for a destination wedding videographer?

As a destination wedding videographer based in the UK, I love travelling around Europe to tell the beautiful, heartwarming and authentic stories of my couples, no matter where they decide to go.

My destination wedding films place an emphasis on you, your story and your journey- not only where you are right now, but also where you have been on your road to your very special wedding day. Whether it’s the romance of Italy on the shores of Lake Como, the seclusion of a Chateaux in the south of France, a winter adventure on the black beaches of Iceland or an elegant view of Mount Etna in Sicily, destination weddings are something very, very special to experience and are perfectly captured by cinematic wedding films.

Working With Wedding Planners

Destination weddings are almost always planner-led, and I genuinely enjoy working as part of a well-run team. A great planner protects the flow of the day, keeps logistics effortless for you, and creates the space for moments to unfold naturally — which is exactly what leads to stronger films. I’ll coordinate quietly on timelines, light and key story beats so everything feels calm and seamless, while you stay fully present with your people.

Where I Film Destination Weddings

Most of my destination wedding videography takes me across Europe, with a particular love for places where architecture, light and landscape create a natural sense of atmosphere on film. Italy is an obvious favourite for refined villa celebrations and long golden evenings, while France offers châteaux, vineyards and elegant town settings that suit an editorial, fine art finish beautifully.

Spain, Portugal and Greece each bring their own energy. Whether it’s a coastal celebration, a historic setting, or a relaxed multi-day gathering built around sunshine and time with your favourite people, these destinations allow the story of the trip to become part of the film. If you’re planning abroad and want something cinematic, emotive and considered rather than simply “coverage”, I’ll help you shape a film that feels true to you and the place you chose.

Multi-day coverage

Destination weddings often unfold across more than a single day, and that’s where the story becomes even richer.

Coverage can include a welcome dinner, rehearsal evening, pool party or relaxed pre-wedding time with friends and family, as well as a day-after session for portraits in softer light and a calmer pace. These moments add context, deepen the narrative, and allow your wedding film to capture not just the ceremony day, but the whole experience of being away together.

My Cinematic Approach To Destination Wedding Videography

To me, creating destination wedding films is more than just capturing beautiful visuals—it's about immersing yourself in the story of the couple and the destination they’ve chosen.

Every couple selects a specific destination for a reason, whether it's the romance of a hidden beach, the timeless charm of a European city, or the stunning beauty of a mountainside retreat. I take great care in weaving the essence of that destination into your wedding film, making it an integral part of the story.

Filming your destination wedding involves the skill and experience of knowing when to let a natural, authentic moment unfold without getting involved, as well as knowing when to step in with direction and creative ideas. My entire style and approach has been built on these two foundations, blending of natural authenticity and emotion with carefully crafted and planned fine art and editorial style visuals. It's being unobtrusive when it's a once-in-a-lifetime moment for you and it's being confident in directing the moments that will make your heart skip a beat when you watch them back.

Destination wedding videography is about capturing those special moments and pairing them together with editorial-style visuals that do justice to the beauty of your location. The energy of your chosen destination will resonate throughout the film, whether it’s the sound of waves crashing on the shore or the bustling streets of a foreign city, creating a beautiful story accompanied by a highly emotive, well thought out narrative—one that will make you laugh, cry and reminisce for many, many years to come without turning your wedding day into a film set.

We were blown away with Luke’s ability to make us feel so comfortable, give us loads of ideas and make us laugh from the initial meeting, all the way through to the end.

The quality of his work is outstanding… But it was also so fun to film with him!

There's nothing quite like the romance of a destination wedding, is there?

It's like something straight out of a Hollywood film- flying off to some distant, beautiful land to marry the love of your life. Maybe it is amongst the Dolomite Mountains in Italy, maybe against the Mediterranean coastline or perhaps a traditional vineyard in France. Wherever it is, there is only one thing that will be more special than the location- you and your story.

As a destination wedding videographer, I have a simple rule when it comes to creating my cinematic wedding films- people come first, cameras come second. I believe this is the cornerstone of destination wedding videography: placing the emphasis on your experience working with me and creating a relaxed atmosphere whereby you feel comfortable around me.

When that happens, you will forget the cameras are even there. I want to be friendly and personable first and foremost, making you feel like i am just another friend at your wedding. It's this approach that allows me such privileged access to my clients most emotional moments, and it's what i value the most when creating your destination wedding video. It's not about the cameras or even necessarily the beautiful location- it's about you.

For couples who love the feeling of a destination celebration but want to stay closer to home, my safari park wedding video at Port Lympne in Kent is a perfect example of how a UK estate can offer the same sense of escape and cinematic scale.

Romantically Driven And Story Focussed, your destination wedding film will be something very, very special.

Over the course of multiple days there are always amazing opportunities to capture those once-in-a-lifetime memories that happen either side of your wedding day- with all of your friends and family in one place it really is something very special indeed.

Imagine the laughter around the pool with all of your friends as they relax into your wedding extravaganza, a beautiful sunset shot of you both walking hand in hand down the beach the day before you say your 'I do's' or that view you'll look out on together over the rolling mountainous vineyards after your wedding ceremony- all captured forever in a stunning cinematic destination wedding film.

I am passionate about telling my clients stories through my lenses and there is no better place to show that than with a destination wedding film.

I don’t even know where to start with this review because Luke was just the perfect fit for our day!

And then there is the film, wow wow wow - we feel like movie stars! We’re still bewildered how he got certain shots, and the way he has created a narrative using our ceremony, vows, and speeches is a masterpiece - every detail is so thoughtfully curated. Knowing that Luke is in high demand with a little family we had managed expectations with receiving the full feature film, so it was really a lovely surprise to receive all our content in under two months since our big day!
