Weddings at Beautiful Venues Across the UK

Explore My Cinematic Wedding Films by Venue & Style

As a cinematic wedding videographer based in Kent, I love travelling all over the UK & Europe to a wide variety of unique wedding venues that offer me the creative and artistic foundations to tell the intricate stories of my couples. Creating cinematic wedding films requires careful curation, planning and an eye for detail that I love to use across any wedding venue I am lucky enough to film.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of capturing weddings at some of the most iconic and characterful venues across the UK and Europe—from elegant estates and castles to rustic barns and countryside retreats. This page brings together a curated selection of venues I’ve worked at, each linked to an in-depth portfolio showing real cinematic wedding films, photography, and stories from that location.

I have also filmed many types of themes- black-tie weddings, private at-home weddings, marquee weddings, editorial, elegant and timeless weddings- the list is extensive. Here you’ll also find examples of my wedding videography and photography work based on theme, so even if I haven’t worked at your venue before, you can see how your wedding film could look.

Aside from this, I have also formulated a list of beautiful venues from around the UK & Europe that, although I haven’t been fortunate enough to work at yet, I believe would suit my style of wedding filmmaking.

Whether you're planning a fine art celebration at a specific venue or simply exploring options, this is a great place to see how I bring each space to life through film.

I’m Luke Batchelor, a filmmaker and photographer with a deep appreciation for storytelling, elegant design, and authentic connection. Based in Kent and covering weddings across the UK and Europe, I’ve spent the past few years capturing fine art celebrations in some of the most extraordinary venues—from grand historic estates to intimate countryside settings.

My approach is quietly observant, always focused on crafting timeless wedding films that feel honest, cinematic, and true to each couple. Whether I’m filming or photographing, the goal is the same: to create something personal, beautiful, and lasting.

If you’re planning your wedding and searching for someone to document it with care and creativity, I’d love to hear your story.

  • This portfolio brings together my work across a variety of UK wedding venues. It’s designed to give you an easy way to explore how I approach different settings, from elegant manor houses to countryside barns and coastal estates. By browsing through these films, you’ll get a sense not just of the venues themselves, but of how I capture each couple’s story in a way that feels timeless, emotive, and deeply personal.

  • Yes. If I’ve filmed at your venue before, you’ll find it featured within this portfolio, often with its own dedicated page. Each of these showcases both highlights and stills, giving you a strong impression of what your day could look like on film. Even if your venue isn’t listed, my style adapts seamlessly, and I can show you examples from similar spaces to give you a clear idea of how I’ll approach your wedding.

  • The portfolio is always expanding, but even if your venue doesn’t yet appear here, that doesn’t mean I can’t work there. I have filmed at a wide range of locations and bring the same editorial, fine art approach to every wedding I capture. In fact, filming at new venues often brings fresh creativity, allowing me to see the space with completely new eyes.

  • I don’t limit myself to one type of venue. My portfolio includes country estates, historic manors, luxury hotels, barns, gardens, and even more alternative settings. What matters most is the couple and their story — the venue becomes a beautiful backdrop to frame your emotions and moments. That said, I do have extensive experience in luxury estates and country houses across the UK, which often appeal to couples drawn to my timeless, cinematic style.

  • Every venue has its own atmosphere, and my role is to reflect that through film. At a historic manor, I lean into the grandeur and classical elegance; at a rustic barn, I highlight warmth and intimacy; at a coastal or garden venue, I bring out the natural light and openness. The style is always consistent with my brand — emotive, cinematic, and bespoke — but nuanced to complement your chosen setting.

  • Yes. Alongside videography, I also provide photography, as well as combined photo and video coverage. Many couples find that working with one creative team ensures consistency in style and approach, and it also makes the planning process simpler. On each venue page, you’ll see how both film and photography work together seamlessly to tell a complete story of your day.

  • Absolutely. No two weddings are ever the same, even in the same location. My focus is always on you as a couple — your personalities, emotions, and relationships — meaning each film feels unique. While I know how to use a venue’s light, layout, and flow to their best advantage, I never create films that feel formulaic.

  • The simplest way is to get in touch directly through my contact page. Let me know your wedding date and venue, and I’ll share my availability, along with my brochure that outlines the different services I offer. I only take on a select number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives the attention they deserve.

  • Yes. While I am based in Kent, I film weddings across the whole of the UK & Europe— from London townhouses and Surrey estates to Norfolk barns and Cotswold manors. Travel within the UK is always included in my approach, and I enjoy bringing my style to a diverse range of settings.

  • The portfolio is not just a showcase of films, but also an inspiration tool. Many couples use it to see how a particular venue feels when brought to life on film. It can also help you explore venue styles you may not have considered yet — from fine art manor houses to more intimate countryside retreats. Ultimately, it’s about imagining your own story woven into these spaces, with my films acting as a window into that experience.
